From struggle to cooperation
The sun is shining, the grass is growing, the flowers are blooming. For many, it’s a wonderful season – but if you suffer from hay fever, you know it’s also the time of sneezing, watery eyes, and fatigue. But what if your body no longer had to see this natural cycle as a threat?
A different perspective on hay fever
Hay fever is, simply put, an overreaction of the immune system. It treats harmless pollen as a threat — a kind of mistake by the body, a pattern that can become deeply ingrained.
As a psychosocial therapist and hypnotherapist, I invite you to look at this from a new perspective. What if your body isn’t “broken,” but has simply forgotten what’s safe? What if it could remember that pollen is nothing more than the beginning of new life?
Pollen, in essence, are seeds of growth, light, and energy — a natural part of the world you, too, are part of.
Hypnotherapy: resetting what once got stuck
In hypnotherapy, we work with the subconscious — the place where old beliefs, reflexes, and patterns are stored. By connecting with this deeper level in a state of deep relaxation, we can begin to release the negative association between pollen and danger. Your body can retune itself to nature — not in conflict, but in harmony.
Often, there are deeper emotions hidden beneath the surface — emotions unconsciously linked to the moment the allergic reaction first occurred. These unacknowledged feelings might just be waiting for a gentle emotional "rain shower" — allowing more space for joy and ease.
Possibilities
Many clients describe the sessions as a “coming home to themselves.” A sense of calm. Space. As if the body can finally let go of what it has held onto for so many years. No longer stuck in defense, but relaxed in connection. It’s not a magic wand. But it is a powerful tool to help your body remember what it has always known deep down: you are nature. And pollen no longer needs to be fought.
