The Power of the Inner World

Being Able to Feel – the Power of the Inner World
What if physical symptoms are not isolated issues, but are connected to what you experience on the inside? In my practice, I see every day how the body and inner experience are inseparably linked. Being able to truly feel is an essential starting point in this process.

Body and mind: not separate parts
Physical and psychological complaints are often approached separately. Yet experience shows that stress, emotions, and earlier life events can leave their imprint on the body — sometimes clearly recognizable, sometimes subtle and unconscious. When feelings are not given space, the body may begin to speak. Tension, pain, or fatigue are then not problems in themselves, but signals trying to tell us something.

Hypnotherapy: listening to what arises
Hypnotherapy focuses on the connection between body and mind. In a state of deep relaxation and focused attention, space is created to notice what is unfolding beneath the surface. Not by analyzing or forcing, but by experiencing and allowing. Within this inner space, physical sensations, emotions, and images can emerge. They form a language of their own, often more direct and truthful than words alone.

The importance of being able to feel
Many people have — often unconsciously — learned to numb or suppress their feelings. This may once have served a protective function, but later can keep complaints in place. Learning to feel again requires care and safety, yet it can be of great value for recovery, resilience, and personal direction. Being able to feel does not mean becoming overwhelmed, but being attuned to what lives within you. It helps you recognize signals earlier, make more conscious choices, and take better care of yourself.

Inner images as a gateway to change
Within hypnotherapy, we work among other things with imagination and inner images. These images are not random fantasies; they often carry deep personal meaning. They can offer direction, provide insight, and create movement where words fall short. Such inner experiences frequently help to break patterns and discover new possibilities — each in their own way and at their own pace.
